What to include in a final design handover
A clean handover makes you look like a studio — and gets the last invoice paid. Here's what to include.

The handover is the last thing your client remembers. Make it complete, organised — and tied to the final payment.
The checklist
- Approved versions of every deliverable.
- Source files (AI, Figma, PSD) if your agreement includes them.
- Exports in every format they'll need: SVG, PNG (light & dark), PDF for print.
- Fonts and licences, or links to buy them.
- A short guideline — clear space, minimum sizes, color codes.
- A note thanking them and explaining what's inside.
Name files like a studio

Tie it to the last payment
Send the file list first so the client sees what they're getting. Unlock the downloads once the final milestone is confirmed. No more "I'll pay once I have the files".
Make it re-downloadable
Clients lose files. A portal they can come back to beats a WeTransfer link that expires in a week.
In Wuilder
Select the approved versions and extra files, add a note and send. The final invoice goes out with it; your client downloads everything as one ZIP as soon as you verify the payment.
